Why This Exists

The Northeast Problem

Most founders get advice, not access. INVEX flips the order: startup credits first to reduce build friction, investors second to see traction, roadshow access third to widen your market. No panels for the sake of panels. No certificates without consequence. Just a challenge showcase designed to move your startup forward.

Who Should Apply

Be Explicit. We Filter.

Geography Early-stage startups from Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, or Sikkim
Stage MVP built or pilot running — idea-stage only applications will not be considered
Team Teams of 1–3 founders. Student teams are welcome and encouraged
Sectors Multi-sector / Sector-agnostic. We welcome startups from any industry building scalable solutions in or for NE India
Commitment Willing to pitch in the Media Arena and Investor Arena on event days

Answering the Objections

Yes. INVEX is a selective startup competition challenge for the top 30 startups. It is access-first: selected teams compete for visibility, investor access, roadshow access, and startup credits instead of a cash-prize-only model.
We facilitate structured 1:1 meetings with angels and VCs from NEDFi, Assam Angels, and Calcutta Angels. We cannot guarantee investment — no one can. But we guarantee the meeting. What happens after is between you and the investor.
No. Every seat pitches. INVEX is not a conference you attend — it's a venue you participate in. If you're not ready to pitch, apply when you are.
The event fee is only collected after you're selected. If you register and aren't shortlisted for the top 30, you do not pay the event fee. We will share feedback, and you're welcome to reapply for the next cohort.
The fee is non-refundable once paid. It is, however, transferable to a co-founder or a member of your founding team. We do this to keep the room serious — confirmed seats that go empty cost everyone.
No travel or accommodation subsidy, but we help you coordinate. Outstation founders get access to a dedicated WhatsApp group to arrange shared cabs and stays. We'll also share a list of budget-friendly hotels near the venue with any available group rates.
Yes — with conditions. You need an MVP or a live pilot. Idea-stage applications from students will not be considered. If you've shipped something real, apply. The Student Solo tier at ₹999 exists for you.
